A Little Milk with Your Chocolate

So things have been a little crazy lately. Momma is practicing her bass with the band for VBS and her schooling just started. She has three classes so I'll have to behave for her. Speaking of behaving, the Day Care lady told Momma that I was extra good this afternoon. She told her that I behaved really well and only had to be reminded once to stay at the table. :) Momma was so proud of me.
Today was kind of a sad day. Momma told me that My Great-Great-Grandma passed away this morning. She said that Grandma and Grandpa were flying home to Iowa for the funeral. I am not sure what a funeral is but it makes me sad to know that Grandma is hurt. I will miss her and Grandpa while they in Iowa. I hope Grandma feels better soon.
On a different note, my Aunt Amanda caught me on video during a sugar high. While Momma was at band practice I was chilling at Grandma and Grandpa's and we had burger and chips for dinner. Uncle Garrett got me some chocolate milk and Grandma said that there was a "little chocolate with my milk". I went crazy! It was ssoo good!!!

Lazy Sunday Morning

Momma and I are watching "Lord of the Beans" right now. At 7:3o we are going to go get groceries. Then at 10:30 we are going to go to church. I am excited to go to church and listen to the music and I am excited for Kid's Charge. After church Momma is going to work on her finals and I am going to play in the living room. Later, if it is nice out, we are going to go to the park! Come on sunshine, come my way!

Opening Doors and Back Porch Gardens

I was at Grandma's house on Saturday and I figured out how to open the front door! :P I went out onto the porch and Grandma was stunned and thought that Grandpa opened the door for me. Nope! I did it myself! :P Momma and everyone else was so proud of me.
Today Momma and I went to Walmart to pick up some items to start out little back porch garden. Momma says that there is a ton of sunlight so we might be able to start a little potted garden. I even got to pick out what we were going to grow! I chose lettuce, green onions, carrots and sweet peas! I can't wait to see if they grow or not! (Momma says that she's not exactly a green thumb but she's willing to try.) It should be fun! :) Momma said that she is even going to let me put the seed in the dirt myself! I can't wait!

The Sportsman Show And Our New Home

Last weekend I went to the Sportsman Show with Kirby and Momma. It was really busy! I rode in the backpack on Momma's back. I got to see dead fish, live fish, stuffed moose, hunting guns, bows, boats, RVs and so much more! I can't wait until Momma takes me hiking and camping this summer, it will be so much fun!
A lot has been going on in our apartment too. Momma got most of the things put away and a lot of the pictures and decorations up. I love my new room! We do have an issue with the lady that lives underneath us. She finds any reason to accuse me of being loud and she bangs on the ceiling often. She even approached Momma about it. Momma said not to worry and she went to talk to the landlord. I can't help it, I'm just learning to walk. Momma said that I'm doing nothing wrong.
Grandma and Grandpa bought me a turtle sand box and it is so much fun! While Momma was at work they let me play in it for what seemed like all afternoon. (Grandma told Momma that it was only about 20 minutes but I think it was all afternoon. :P
I also got my hair cut recently. Grandma let me sit on her lap while I got it cut. We had picture day at school so Momma said I had to look nice and cleaned up for the pictures. I wonder what they will look like but Momma says that we have to wait a few weeks before they are sent to us.

Art Walk in Anchorage

So Momma and I went on an Art Walk with Miss Lisa (one of Momma's pottery instructors) to meet a possible new instructor for the shop. There were so many people!!! It was a fantastic experience though. I also ran into Daniel, a friend of Momma's from high school. We met his boyfriend and Momma might hire him on as an instructor as well. Anyway, this art walk was really fun! Momma and I are going to go to the next one but this time she is going to put me in my hiking backpack instead of a stroller. It was really hard to get around with me in a stroller... not to mention all I saw was the knees of everyone. I can't wait to be at eye level to all the art. :) It was so fun!

My New Place

So Momma found a new place for us to live. It's a nice big apartment and I even get my own room!!! There living room is very empty so I can go in the middle of it and scream and hear myself. It drives Momma crazy but I think it is funny. :P I am sleeping much better at night now that Momma and I have our own rooms. I do miss the puppies though. Aunt Ali is making me a picture collage of all three of them to put up in my bedroom. I miss Grandma and Grandpa too but I get to see them on Thursday nights and Saturdays. I spend the night at Grandma's house on Thursday nights because Momma has to work late. (Grandpa spoils me with chocolate milk and cookies!!!) This move to a new place has been kind of hard to adjust to, because now it is just Momma and me, but I am glad to have my own place.... and that means when I do see Grandma and Grandpa they can spoil me even more than normal! That is what Grandparents are for, right? :P

Helping Out

So Momma has been sick for the past two days and Grandma got sick today. I have been trying to be a good boy so they can get better. Grandpa spoils me though, and he gave me three chocolate chip cookies before dinner. :P They were YUMMY!!!!!

I have learned a lot about cleaning up around the house. I have a little broom, just like Grandma's, and I like to help her sweep. I also clean the table after I eat and Grandma lets me wash her face when she's done eating. :) I also like to help with the garbage. Someone will take the garbage bag out and then I crawl into the cabinet, get a new bag and try to open it and put it in. Aunt Ali thinks it's adorable and told Momma that she should get a picture of it.

Things have been really fun at day care lately. They brought out some new toys, these giant dinosaurs that you sit on and they bounce. My teachers told Momma that I had really good problem solving skills because I didn't just fall off of the toys, I tilted to one side, then the next until I could reach the ground. I love my day care teachers, they are fun. :)
