Valentine's Day and Pirate Moments

This week was still low key but there were a few fun highlights. We celebrated Valentine's Day at day care and I got a few cool things, but one especially cool item was this little candy stick that you licked and then stuck it in the packet with blue powder and then licked the powder off. I thought it was yummy and it turned my tongue blue!! Aside from Valentine's Day, nothing major happened all week. I played with the play dough with Grandma and we made a pretty cool play dough cookie. It looked so real that I actually took a lick. (Grandma went crazy and told me not to eat it as if the world was coming to an end...... so I licked it again!) *smirk* I also shared a pudding cup with Kirby and got extremely messy! I was making funny faces so Momma thought it would be an awesome time to take some black mail pictures for when I'm all grown and have my first girlfriend (what ever those are...). The last fun thing I did this week was I got to have Frankie, Aunt Ali's bird, on my shoulder like a pirate! Grandma was watching and she said that I looked like a real pirate!!! Just like Larry, Pa Grape and Mr. Lunt in Veggietales. COOL!!!! (Note from Momma..... Blogger.com is having some issues uploading pictures so I will add the pictures from this week onto the blog for next week. Sorry!)

A Slow Week

Nothing really happened this week so I will have Mommy type about some of the fun little things I did this weekend. Mommy and I went to Walmart and she let me pick out a toy. I picked out a cool play dough kit. :) Then, when we were at Kirby's house I was painting a picture with Eryn. We both made beautiful flowers. (I think mine was a little more abstract than Eryn's. :P ) Aside from that, nothing really fun happened. All of my friends are sick so I just stayed in the house and watched a lot of movies with Momma, Kirby, Grandma and Grandpa.

Mountain Spring Fresh Breath

Mommy was laughing so hard at this so I told her she had to post really quick. Mommy was in the bathroom putting her make up on when she heard "yum...um...ummmm!!!" coming from the part of the living room that she is sleeping in. She was thinking "Oh, ok.. Atticus is eating... wait... there isn't anything in there for Atticus to eat!" Momma came over and right as she got in the room I quickly put the cap back on her deodorant and looked at her like nothing had happened. She started laughing and said "well, at least your breath is mountain spring fresh Atticus". :P

Celebrating Momma's 23rd Birthday

This week was Momma's birthday week. She turned 23 on Thursday. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday at Kirby's house and Sunday at Grandma's house. While we were at Kirby's house I got to spend two whole hours with Kirby while Momma was at a hot fusion yoga class. She loved it and was so excited about going to the next one. When she got home we had dinner and then birthday cake. When everyone was singing I almost thought it was my birthday but then they all said "Megan" instead of "Atticus" and I realized that it was Momma's birthday cake. :P Then she opened her presents and it was time for me to go to bed. Right as Momma was going to put my pjs on, Wendy noticed that I had poop running down my leg.... a blowout diaper. Thus, a bath was necessary and then I went to bed.
Today I went to Garcia's with Momma, Kirby, Wendy, and Dave for lunch. It was fun and I had TONS of salsa and ketchup. I love dipping my foods in sauce! After that Momma and I went to Kohls and Target. Momma got some work clothes with her gift card to Kohls and then she let me get a dinosaur toy at Target.
For dinner we had smoked brisket that Grandpa made. Then we had gluten-free carrot cake with cream cheese icing. It was YUMMY!!! Aunt Amanda and Uncle Shaggy were both here for dinner. I got to sit next to Uncle Shaggy. I thought that was pretty cool.
Right now I am taking a bath and making a huge mess!! Yay!

Sledding

This week was pretty slow, but I had a blast this weekend! Momma and I went sledding down Kirby's drive way as he was shoveling snow. I went down twice with Momma and she even let me go down once by myself. It was scary at first, and I was unsure of it, but afterward it was a blast! Momma said that I was really good and we might go on a slightly bigger hill next time!! I can't wait! I also tried to help Kirby shovel the driveway but I didn't get to far. Snow sure is heavy for being so fluffy looking! After the long day of playing in the snow I took a nice long nap. The next day I was reading the Sunday morning ads with Mrs. Wendy and we were having a blast looking at all the sales. There were even some cool toys on sale that I'll have to tell Momma about the next time we're in Target. ;) Right now Grandma's getting my bath ready and then I have to get to bed so Momma can work on her research paper. Good night!

Sick at Grandma's House

This week was alright but not a lot happened. Saturday morning was pretty cool. I went grocery shopping with Grandma, Grandpa, and Momma even came. After shopping we stopped by the Shoppette and Grandma let me have a donut. I was so tired that I fell asleep in the car while eating the donut! After the Shopette we went to Tere Bella Coffee Shop so Momma could get a gluten-free goodie. She got a slice of a coffee cake that she wouldn't share with me. :( After that we went and got my hair cut. Grandpa got his hair cut at the same time! My hair is much shorter than I am used to but that's ok. Momma says that the curls will grow back.
Saturday night wasn't fun. Momma went to a hockey game so I stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. I ended up getting a fever so I spent all day in bed watching Veggietales. Momma and Grandma think it is because I have a molar coming in. I wasn't throwing up. I was still eating and drinking fine but I was really chewing on my binky. That is why Grandma told Momma she thought it was teething and Momma agreed.
When Momma got back from the game she gave me the hockey puck that the ref gave her. Its an official game day, UAA, hockey puck. I thought it was really cool but Momma said that it is going into a box until I'm in my new room. She thinks I'll break something. Momma is funny sometimes!
