Personal Tour of the Anchorage Fish Hatchery

Today was an especially awesome day! Momma, Grandpa and I took a personal tour of the Anchorage fish hatchery. Momma set it up for Father's Day for Grandpa. Her coworker, Larry, gave the three of us a personal tour. :) We got to see the construction areas, and even go down by the fish tanks, an area that, when open to the public, is off limits. I thought that was pretty cool. We got to see a biologist feeding fish, and we even got to see some fish in the river! It was a fun tour, but it was long. (I also had an accident about a third of the way into the tour so it was a little uncomfortable......) Momma said that once the hatchery is open to the public we'll come back and see all the fish in the tanks. I can't wait!!

Playdates and Mother's Day

I've been a busy bug! Last Saturday I had a play date with Allen. He came over and I got to show him all of my toys and we played for three or four hours! We went outside and blew bubbles, played with cards, kicked the ball around, played with the sit and spin, and watched my favorite Veggietales movie. :) It was so much fun! I hope he comes back again soon!
I talked with Chris this week too. We talked about what I was doing, things I like, and colors I know. I was trying to remember how to spell my name but I got a little shy over the phone.
I also got to play outside with Momma and Kirby a lot this weekend. It was sunny so we played soccer, bubbles, and just general running around. It felt so good to be able to go outside again and not have it freezing cold!
This Saturday night Momma had a game night at our house. They were playing Texas hold em' with jelly beans. It was fun but I got bored so I went over to Grandma's house instead.
Yesterday was Mother's Day. I went in with Kirby and bought Momma a new black Wii. She said that she's going to try and find some Wii games that I can play. :) :) :) Right now I've got to go so I can get ready for school!! Yay!

Easter 2011

THIS WEEK WAS CRAZY!!! I went on three eggs hunts this week for Easter! The first one happened at Daycare. We brought 6 filled eggs to contribute to the egg hunt and then we went and found all the eggs. It was awesome! On Saturday Momma and I drove out to Wasilla for an egg hunt and pot luck at Cassie's house. I got to play with Trinity and another little girl my age, Paige. We had a blast! I found so many eggs! I also got a pair of green bunny ears and my face painted like a bunny! :) We even got little party favors with a yoyo in it, a little air squeeze nurf dart gun thing, and tattoos!
On Sunday morning, Easter, Momma, Kirby and I opened my gift from the Easter basket. I got a Buzz Lightyear action figure!!!! I was soo excited! After Kirby left Momma and I headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house. There was another Easter basket for me there, filled with Veggietales stuff!!! I even got a Larry the Cucumber doll. :) He's my new best friend. After my nap I went out into the front yard and there were more eggs for me to find. (Grandpa said that the Easter bunny needed to stop pooping eggs everywhere. I thought that was super funny!) After the egg hunt we had burgers that Grandpa grilled. I was acting up because I had an audience, Uncle Shaggy and Aunt Amanda. :)
When Momma and I got home I was so pooped! Momma hung up the glow-in-the dark stars from one of my Easter baskets and then I came up to her and said "Momma... I tired, I tired Momma..". All in all, this week was fun!
