A Crazy Saturday

Momma didn't have to work at her regular work yesterday, but she was babysitting two kids for 8 hours, on top of watching me. We had fun but man did it make me tired! She was so tired that she forgot to bring her camera everywhere.
First we went over to their house at 8 in the morning. Momma made french toast and we watched something called "Hamtaro". It was interesting, there were these little critters running around everywhere! After that we got ready to go to Arctic Oasis.
When we got to Arctic Oasis we realized that it didn't open until noon... it was only 10:30. So we went to the Midnight Sun park instead. I had fun chasing the older kids around and making Momma climb up all that playground equipment. When we got cold Momma took all of us to the McDonald's in Eagle River to play on the playground after we ate. I wanted to play on the big kid's playground but Momma said that I was too little. Maybe next year.
After that we headed to a birthday party for my friend from daycare, Zacharia. It was fun and I saw a lot of my other daycare friends. We played on a small bouncy thing, blew bubbles, had a rice crispy cake, and played pin the tail on the donkey. It was a blast! I had fun seeing my friends outside of school.
After the party we all went to Target and got some Halloween candy. Then we dropped the other two kids off at home, Momma talked with their Momma for a little while, and we went home. I was so full from the birthday supper and snacks that I didn't even want to eat dinner when we got home. Momma and I were watching "My Neighbor Totoro" when the doorbell rang. I was expecting it to be Kirby but it was GRANDMA! I was so excited! She came in and we read some books and played for awhile.
After she left it was time for bath. Momma asked if I needed to go potty and I shook my head yes. She helped me take off my pants and I sat down. I peed in my potty and Momma got all excited. I was smiling because I made her happy. (Not sure why that made her happy but whatever floats her boat I guess.) Then it was time for bed and boy was I tired. I fussed for a short while but then fell asleep and slept for a long time! It was a fun Saturday.

Pictures and Blueberries

This week was slow up until Saturday. Saturday I went to Grandma and Grandpa's house like normal but Grandma took me to Momma's work at around 4:30 and she let me pick out a piggy bank to paint! I choose a dog that kind of looks like Tucker. Grandma said that I was going to paint this piggy bank so I can put the change that I earn from doing little chores around the house in. I can't wait until Momma fires it and I get to see what it looks like!
Today (Sunday) Grandma and Momma took me to get my two year old pictures done at JC Penny. I was pretty crabby up until the point of the pictures but during the pictures I was fine. I had fun climbing all over the couch prop that the photographer put out. Momma said that she can't wait to pick up the pictures on the 29th! After the photo session we went up to the food court and Grandma bought me a chocolate frozen yogurt. It was yummy!
When we dropped Grandma off at her house, Momma and I ran home real quick and packed for the blueberry picking trip that Jamie (one of Momma's friends/coworkers) invited us to go on. We packed a backpack and then went to Kirby's house. We loaded everything into his suburban and headed out to a place called Arctic Vally. We met Jamie there and we all went up the mountain in Kirby's suburban together. When we stopped and paid our parking, we started to get ready for the hike to where we were going to be picking blueberries. Momma was carrying the backpack while Kirby was carrying me in my hiking backpack. We started off and it was so much fun! Momma had a hard time up some parts of the mountain. She said that she hadn't used a lot of the muscles that she was using during the hike since before she had me. When she did fall a little bit behind Kirby and I were cheering her on.
When we got to where the blueberries were, Kirby took the backpack off so I could stand and touch the grass. Momma and Jamie were busy picking berries so Kirby and I hung out and took some pictures of the scene. Jamie picked lots of blue berries and Momma picked lots of crowberries (she prefers them more, they taste like a combination of an apple and grapes. I wouldn't know, I don't like fruits or veggies....) She said that she was going to make gluten free crowberry muffins from all the berries she picked today.
When Momma filled her container up she let me come out of my backpack as long as I held her or Kirby's hand. The second I got out I started to hike the mountain just like everyone else was. I went a pretty far way and it made Momma and Kirby really proud that I was hiking so well. I had a blast!!! :)
On the way home I was tired but I didn't sleep. I was too excited from everything that I saw today that my brain wouldn't slow down enough to sleep. Momma said that she's going to go tomorrow while I'm at school to pick some more berries to make more muffins. I can't wait to try those muffins! They'll taste so good!!

My 2nd Birthday!!

So my birthday was on Thursday. I didn't understand what birthdays were until Momma told me that it was the day that God brought me into this world, it was the day that my momma gave birth to me. That makes sense, birthday = the day momma gave birth to me. Anyway, my birthday was on Thursday and Momma took the day off just for me. First, we slept in for an extra hour and then we got up and ate some cereal. We waited around the house until 10:00 am and then went to Fred Meyer. Momma said that the Great-Gramcracker and Great-Grandpa Harlen gave me money for my birthday and that I could pick out what I wanted. Momma said that I could only spend 3/4ths of it and the rest went into savings. I got a Leapfrog Tag reader Junior and a book to go with it. (It is awesome!) I also got a new stereo for my room because mine broke, and three new dvds (two Veggietales and Ponyo). I was so excited that when we got home Momma opened everything and I played with the new reader while watching a Veggietales movie.
After shopping and a little nap, Momma and I went to Arctic Oasis, the community center. She let me play on the playground for about an hour then I was crabby for lunch and another nap. It was fun though, and I had the playground to myself for a short while.
Later, at night, Momma met up with Grandma, Grandpa and Kirby for a small birthday dinner at Red Robin. It wasn't anything big, just a simple dinner. Grandma and Grandpa brought a few presents for me to open. I also got a free ice cream and a whole bunch of people sang this really embarassing birthday song to me. Momma was laughing but I was a little embarassed.
On Saturday we were at Grandma's house all day. I didn't know it until later but Momma had a little family gathering for me. It was so much fun! Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Amanda, Uncle Shaggy, Eryn, Mrs. Wendy, Mr. Dave and Kirby were all there! I was a little confused at first, because I never see everyone in the same house, but it was great! Uncle Shaggy grilled up some really good brautwurst and we had a blast eating together and laughing. Later we opened a few presents and ate the cake. (Momma made the cake and it made me laugh. She made a crash scene with hot wheels. It wasn't the best looking cake but I loved it because my Momma made it. :) Not to mention it had toys on it!) Grandma said that I took forever to open the presents and at this rate we'd have to start opening Christmas gifts two days early. Aunt Amanda said that if I got to open them two days early then everyone else does too. :) I think she's funny, I like her. After everything was said and done I was really really tired but I had a blast.

Bouncin' Bears and the Alaska State Fair

I have been busy the past two weeks! I went to Bouncin' Bears last Saturday with Grandma and she had to duck tape my socks to my feet because they wouldn't stay. I couldn't help it, I was going to fast! Then, on Sunday I went to Bouncin' Bears for a birthday party. It was Trinity's second birthday. We got her a Snow White Barbi doll. She liked it. :) There were lots of kids my age, so I had a blast. They couldn't keep up with me, and all the adults thought I was cute with my curly hair and an energy bomb. :D
This past Saturday I went to the Alaska State Fair with Grandma and Grandpa. I got to feed all sorts of animals and even see a Llama! It was fun but man was I tired!!! Sunday I went with Momma, Kirby, Mrs. Wendy and Eryn. We saw all the animals again, and a giant pumpkin! I wouldn't keep my right sock and right shoe on, so about 20 people asked Momma and Kirby if they knew I didn't have my sock or shoe on. They said yes, they knew, and that I do it all the time. :) Even though it was raining both days at the fair, I still had a blast.
Aside from those big events, nothing crazy has happened. I fed the ducks with Grandpa, participated in a trike-a-thon, had to go with Momma to work for a few hours, saw Aunt Caitlyn's tattoo finished and keep stealing everyone's shoes. Momma says not to judge someone until you walk a mile in someone else's shoes, so I'm starting with Momma and Kirby's shoes. :D So far it's pretty fun and challenging trying to keep them on!
